4-15-08        This morning we were called for a milk tanker
that had rolled on Route 272 at the county line. We
responded with #07, 04, and 94. We arrived to find a fully
loaded tanker grossing 95,000 lbs that had swerved to
miss a car. The truck went off the road and hit the guard
rail.  The truck then came back up onto the road and
overturned. We placed the 94 up in the woods at a 90
degree angle and used the 07 and 04 to do an end roll.
The time from when we were called until the road was
reopened was 1 hour and 50 minutes, that includes 30
minutes of travel to the job and cleaning all the insulation
off of the road.  Thanks to the Union Fire Company #1 of
Oxford for their assistance with traffic control.
