| 4-1-08 We were called by PSP Lancaster to respond to Route 41 and Route 741 for the accident involving a box truck and a tractor trailer. We responded with 04, and 07. We arrived to find a tandem axle tractor that had hit a single axle box truck. Both trucks had heavy front end damage. The box trucks rear axle was also knocked crooked. Both trucks had fluids spilled from them. 04 was used to tow the box truck. 07 was used to winch the tractor away from the curb so that it could be towed. 07 then towed the tractor to Null's. Once back at Null's the load was transferred from the box truck into another truck. The crew from Null's along with the Gap Fire Company worked at cleaning the debris and spilled fluids from the roadway. THANKS TO CHRIS KENNEDY (G.F.C.) FOR THE PHOTOS. |
