10-15-07       We were called by Lancaster County Wide
Communications (LCWC) requesting a heavy duty tow truck
for a tractor and trailer that had caught fire.  After
contacting the fire chief of the Rawlinsville Fire Company,
we determined that the trailer was loaded with frozen corn
and that the load would have to be unloaded before the
trailer could be moved.  We responded with #94, #04, and
#99-SL on #00.  A dump truck along with a second
skidloader were contacted to assist with the removal and
disposal of the load.  Due to the extensive damage to the
load, the side of the trailer had to be removed so that the
load could be shoveled out.  Once the trailer was empty,
the truck and trailer were pulled apart.  The units were then
towed back to our storage facility.  THANK YOU TO THE
CREWS FROM THE RAWLINSVILLE FIRE COMPANY,
ROBERT FULTON FIRE COMPANY, AND QUARRYVILLE
FIRE COMPANY FOR THEIR ASSISTANCE WITH TRAFFIC
CONTROL AND CLEANUP OF THE INCIDENT.
