| 7-24-10 This afternoon we were called to respond to the Route 30 bypass between Routes 462 and 340 for a loaded flatbed trailer with a broken frame. We immediately dispatched 09, 06, and 95/02. Upon arrival 09 was setup to lift the steel plates totaling 50,000 pounds from the broken trailer onto 06 and 95/02. Once the transfer was complete the loads were secured, the damaged trailer was chained together so it could be pulled to a repair facility. The load was transported back to Null's of Cochranville to await the arrival of a replacement trailer. Once the replacement trailer arrived the load was reloaded onto the good trailer. |
