| 7-10-09 This morning we received a call from Lancaster County Communications requesting a heavy duty for a loaded tri-axle dump truck that had caught fire. 04 was dispatched to the scene, once on scene we had to stand by while the wires that had dropped onto the truck and caused the fire were removed. Once the wires were removed the load was unloaded and the truck was transported to the owners shop. Thanks to the Quarryville Fire Company for all their help on this incident. |
| 7-10-09 This evening we were called to Belmont Road in Paradise Township for a truck loaded with forms for poured concrete walls that had struck a rail road overpass. 04 was dispatched to the scene and arrived to find the load from force that the roof came up and hit the bottom of the underpass. 04 was used to lift the front of the truck so that the crane would clear the underpass. Once we had clearance we pulled the truck forward out of the underpass. The truck was then prepped for transport and transported to our Cochranville Facility. The load clean-up was handled by a crew from the trucking company. Thanks to the Paradise-Leaman Place Fire Company for all their help on this incident. |
