4-29-10   We received a call from the Chester County Fire Board to respond to Route 472 and Glendale Road for a
tractor and trailer that was involved in an accident and off the roadway.  09, 04, 95 and a support truck were dispatched
to the scene.  Upon arrival, we found a tractor pulling an empty walking floor trailer that had went down an embankment
and struck a telephone pole.  The truck and trailer had very minor damage.  The pole had to be removed from the truck
prior to the recovery.  After waiting over two hours for Verizon to arrive on scene, we were finally given the go ahead to
proceed with the recovery.  09 was rigged to the front of the trailer and the rear tractor.  04 was rigged to the rear of the
trailer.  The truck and trailer were winched back up the embankment onto the roadway.  Once the trailer and rear of the
tractor were on the  roadway the front of tractor was lifted and set onto the roadway.  The truck and trailer were then
separated and towed to Null's of Cochranville.

THANKS TO THE UNION FIRE COMPANY NO. 1 OF OXFORD FOR ALL OF THEIR HELP!
