| 1-27-10 This morning we were called by PSP Avondale to respond to Route 272 and Airport Road for an accident involving a tractor trailer and a Mustang. The Mustang reportedly crossed the center line striking the tractor and trailer causing a major fuel spill. We immediately dispatched the 04, 95, 06, and a spill response unit. Upon arrival the Fire Department had the leak on the fuel tank temporarily patched. Part of our crew worked to load the Mustang while the other crew members worked at cleaning up the spilled fuel. Once the Mustang was loaded 04 was hooked to the tractor and trailer. The tractor trailer was then moved out of the spill area, the truck and trailer were then separated. Our crew finished clean the roadway of spilled fuel and vehicle parts.
