| 1-12-10 This afternoon we were called by PSP to respond to Route 30 & Brackbill Road for an accident involving a loaded tractor and trailer off the road and a passenger vehicle. We immediately dispatched #'s 06, 04, and 95. While en-route we were advised that their was a fuel/oil spill, at that point we also dispatched our spill response unit. We arrived to find a tractor pulling a loaded flatbed that a car had collided head on with. The steering axle was knocked loose on the tractor, it traveled across the road and off the roadway in the front yard of a business. Once given the go ahead the truck was recovered back to the roadway. Once on the roadway the truck and trailer were separated. The accident scene was restored to pre-accident condition, the damage fuel tank on the tractor was also pumped. All vehicles were transported to our Cochranville facility. |
