1/8/10  We received a call from one of our customer that had a truck that was in a pond.  #'s 94, 04, and 09 were
dispatched to the scene.  Units arrived to find the truck was going down an ice covered driveway and lost traction.  The
truck went down the embankment and the front end went into a frozen pond.  Front axle, engine compartment and
battery boxes were all in the water.  The scene was surveyed and a recovery plan was established.  Salt spreader was
called to salt ice covered driveway so #04 could be backed up driveway to stabilize the dump truck.  Once stabilized,
#94 was rigged to truck to lift on the low side and pull down on the high side so that fuel tank and battery box would
clear edge of pond as truck was winched out.  The truck was recovered from pond with no visible damage.  The truck
was towed from scene to the customer's repair facility as a precautionary measure.
